I have advocated on behalf of children with developmental and behavioral challenges for more than 17 years.  When my son was diagnosed with a learning disability at the age of 2, I became immersed in the world of special education.

In 2012, I joined the Santa Clara Unified School District’s behavior support team. There I gained invaluable experience creating and implementing behavior intervention plans, collaborating with school specialists at all levels, attending student IEP meetings, and supporting skill acquisition in the areas of executive functioning, self-regulation and social skills.

But it was my son’s own challenges with executive functioning in middle and high school that led me to coaching.  In 2016, I began coaching students on executive functioning. After seeing limited EF support in schools, I began creating individualized programs that help students improve organization, time management, planning, and self-regulation. These skills are as essential as learning math, reading and writing and I am excited to continue sharing my personal and professional experience with families.
